The Youth Agency – The pyramid drop-in

The Youth Agency provides a drop-in programme where young people can meet their friends in a place that is unstructured and informal.  Drop-in sessions are self-directed so you can connect with others and do activities you enjoy. 

  • The group for children in P4 to P6 runs on Tuesdays 6pm to 8pm 
  • The group for children and young people in P7 to S2 runs on Thursdays from 6.30pm to 8.30pm

Youth Vision – Forest skills 

A referral-based outdoor learning programme for 10 to 13 year olds from South West Edinburgh, which takes place during the school holidays in the woodland environments around Youth Vision’s base and in local community greenspaces. The programme runs for three days during the Easter holidays and six days during the Summer Holidays, from 10am until 2pm. It runs from Wester Hailes Quarry Park and Youth Vision provides pick-ups and drop-offs, linking with families.

About Youth – Junior and intermediate youth group

Providing young people to drop in and access a space where they can safely meet with peers to relax, socialise and take part in activities.

The Junior group for P4 to P6 runs on Wednesdays from 3.15pm to 4.30pm.

The Intermediate group for P6 and P7 runs on Mondays from 3.15pm to 4.30pm.

Babblers choir

Children aged three to seven years can develop a love for music, confidence and their musical ear through playful songs, action rhymes and simple harmonies. The group costs £3.00 per child and runs on Fridays from 2pm to 3pm at

Space @ The Broomhouse Hub - Friday youth club

A safe space for young people in the local community to hang out with friends and enjoy fun activities. The Friday youth club is available on a sign-up basis only.

  • The group for eight to 11 year olds runs from 4.30pm to 6pm
  • The group for 12 to 16 year olds run from 6.30pm to 8pm
