We are currently developing plans to expand Craigmount High School. Right now the school has capacity for 1400 pupils and we plan to increase the capacity to 1800. This project will provide the school with space and facilities to meet demand for places from new housing developments at Maybury and Cammo.
The proposal includes a new building and the reconfiguration of some existing spaces. The school leadership have indicated a preference to build the extension on the grass field at the east side of the school.
We will also be organising public information sessions at key stages of the project. This will provide a platform for feedback and comments on the proposals as we develop them.
We currently expect the work to be completed by the summer of 2029.
