The Youth Agency – Pyramid Drop in
The Youth Agency provides a drop-in programme where young people can meet their friends in a place that is unstructured and informal. Drop-in sessions are self-directed so you can connect with others and do activities you enjoy.
- The group for children and young people in P7 to S2 runs on Thursdays from 6.30pm to 8.30pm
- The group for young people in S3 to aged 18 years of age runs on Wednesdays from 6.30pm to 8.30pm

Youth Vision
Staying on Track
This is a skills development programme for young people who are entering the senior phase of their education, aged from 16 to 24 years, based at Youth Vision’s 18th-century farm steading in the Pentland Hills.
Staying on Track runs from 10am till 4pm with minibus pick-ups from school or home at 9.30am throughout the full academic year. The year is divided into six to eight-week themed blocks each focusing on gaining skills for future employment. Food and drinks provided, along with any additional clothing as required for specific activities, e.g. walking boots, waterproofs.

Saturday Wilderness
Saturday Wilderness is Youth Vision’s Saturday programme of outdoor activities and informal education for young people aged 13 to 24 years. This outdoor club links with the 18th-century farm cottage up the Pentland hills throughout the summer/ term times and Winter wilderness meets fortnightly at Wester Hailes Quarry Park.  Youth Vision provides pick-ups from central points and drop-offs before and after. The group runs from 10am to 4pm.

Forest Skills
This is a referral-based outdoor learning programme for 10 to 13 year olds from South-West Edinburgh, which takes place during the school holidays in the woodland environments around Youth Vision’s base and in local community greenspaces. The programme runs for three days during the Easter holidays and six days during the Summer Holidays, from 10am until 2pm. It runs from Wester Hailes Quarry Park and Youth Vision provides pick-ups and drop-offs, linking with families.
