17 July 2026, Princes Street closure progress update. Multi-agency efforts to minimise city centre disruption, diversions and advice for people travelling to Murrayfield, new parade route, support for affected businesses and additional Voi bikes.
This is to allow the large crowds of people going to the Scotland v Fiji rugby match to safely get on and off trams and travel to Murrayfield stadium. Buses and bikes will be diverted along Coates Crescent and Atholl Crescent. Plan ahead if you need to travel.
