Foot of the Walk to Dock Street - walking wheeling and cycling route
Work started on this route in November 2024 and is due to be fully completed by the end of 2025. You can see the design of the route between Foot of the Walk and Dock Street in our General Arrangement drawing.
It features
- a protected cycle route
- improved pavements
- upgraded side street crossings
- better public spaces to spend time in
- sustainable drainage features such as rain gardens
- new trees and plants.
