LeithChooses
The Leith Community Grants Fund (CGF) is allocated once a year by a public vote known as 'LeithChooses'. We are now accepting applications until 11:45pm on 12 October 2026.
Theme for 2026/ 27
This year's theme is ‘Greater Leith Harmony’.
'Greater Leith Harmony' is about cultivating a sense of belonging, celebrating our varied backgrounds, and creating welcoming spaces where Leithers from all walks of life feel valued and connected to their community. This theme also acknowledges that the community of Leith is bigger than Leith Walk and the surrounding streets. (It also includes Leith Links and Seafield, and parts of Lochend, Calton/Hillside, Abbeyhill, Broughton, Bonnington and the eastern edges of Trinity and Newhaven. . So this year we are seeking projects that bring people together, create harmony and/or celebrate what is great about Leith – its people. Hopefully this is open enough to allow for all sorts of creative interpretations. We will look forward to hearing your ideas for new projects!
